Hello,

Thought I would report the success I have had in the past few days
with The Tooth and Gum pain formula.

About 6 days ago a long-standing tooth sensitivity flared up from
what had been an occasional "niggle" to excruciating pain which
involved my right arm losing feeling and strength.
I was up for several hours that night and took two doses of
Paracetamol (I'm pregnant so can't take anything stronger) which
barely made any difference.

In desparation I found my AFT manual and tapped the Tooth and Gum
Pain formula - just the Energy clearer and Symptom remover.
To start with I couldn't even raise my right hand to do the tapping
and had to use the left hand.
This took the edge off a bit so I decided to go back and do the
background formulas i.e LoC 75 Life View and Karma formulas.

This improved things further so that I could use the right hand again
so I tapped the main formula again.

I wondered if there was an infection going on to explain the sudden
flar up so I tapped the Becterial Infection formula aswell (also LoC
75 by the way).

The pain was steadily easing off by now and I could have stopped
there but I decided to keep tapping the Tooth and Gum Pain symptom
remover. The pain was probably around a 4/5 out of 10 at that point -
much less than before but still enough to make sleeping difficult.
By the time I stopped I reckon the pain was down to a 1 or so, and I
was able to get off to sleep.

I decided the tooth probably needed to be removed (a dentist had
advised it a year before but I decided to hold out and see if I could
save it).
As well as the pain being worse than it had ever been I was concerned
about the effects of prolonged pain and regular Paracetamol doses on
the pregnancy.
But the pain was Friday night and I wouldn't be able to contact a
dentist till Monday morning.

The next few days I had pain on and off, and one day had no pain at
all.
I tapped the Tooth and Gum formula a few times whenever the pain
threatened and this seemed to keep it from getting bad.
I also have the Oral Hygiene CD which includes the Tooth and Gum
forumla so I kept that running over the weekend - although I did find
the manual tapping had the most immediate and obvious effect.
On the Monday I made an appointment with the dentist for Wednesday
morning (yesterday) - which meant two more days and nights of
managing the pain.

On Tuesday I had a good day and was thinking I might forget about the
dentist and wait till after the birth before doing any invasive or
traumatic dentistry.
I decided I would still go and see the dentist but aim to save the
tooth if I could.

That evening I got another pain attack totally out of the blue - not
triggered by drinking or eating anything, just sitting watching TV.
It got nearly as bad as the Friday night so I went into my office to
tap the Tooth formula.

I could feel the pain just draining away before I even finished
tapping.
I want back into the living room smiling and my partner could hardly
believe it. Less than 5 minutes before I had been yelling in agony.

The pain threatened to come back a couple of times that evening but
each time I tapped it went away immediately.

I don't think I too any more Paracetamol over that time (since it
didn't work anyway), just did the tapping anytime the pain started up
again.

So yesterday morning I went to the dentist and described the
situation - aiming to take his advice about whether to remove now or
after the birth - and feeling fairly confident that if I did have to
wait for 4/5 months I could manage the pain using the formula.
The dentist said it was a save tim eto have the tooth out and that
anyway it wouldn't be that traumatic for the baby i.e. just a local
anaesthetic and a quick procedure.

I did some general tapping for relaxation in the waiting room as I
was waiting for the anaesthetic to take effect. The injections had
left me feeling a bit shakey even though mentally I was happy about
doing the extraction.
I found myself remembering and repeating one of the AFT affirmations:
"I forgive myself on all levels even though I believe I am my body".
and reassuring my subconscious that what was about to happen wasn't
to be seen as a "loss" or "trauma" but a promise of being pain free
instead.
By the time they called me back in I felt totally calm and even
curious about how it would feel as the tooth came out.

So I had the tooth taken out. True to his word this part was totally
painless and very quick.

I was told to take Paracetamol for the wound pain after the local
wore off.
But I figured that I could still use the Tooth and Gum formula for
that - since it would just be Gum pain by then.

Well, the pain was minimal - nothing compared to the nerve pain, just
a mild stinging and tenderness.
But just to experiment I tapped the formula anyway - which
immediately removed even the low level "pain".

For good measure I also tapped the Bleeding formula and the Wound
Healing formula as soon as I got home.
I had no bleeding at all after getting home - although I don't know
whether I would have had without the tapping.

The mild stinging feeling recurred later on stimulated by talking and
eating dinner. I took the manual up to bed with me just in case I
needed it but had no need of it.

So now I am 24 hours since the extraction, in zero pain and eating
almost normal food again.

Some may be wondering: How come the pain kept coming back? Does that
mean the formula DIDN'T work?

I don't think it means that at all.
It worked every time I did it.

Remember the formula is for Tooth and Gum PAIN - it's not claiming to
fix what's wrong with the teeth or gums - only to reduce the
sensation of pain. And as an extra clue the formula instructions say
to "repeat as necessary" indicating that recurrence is to be expected.
There was clearly an underlying problem with that tooth and had been
for some time.

As a tool for managing the pain I think this worked perfectly - but
the underlying decay meant the pain was always going to recur until
that was dealt with directly.

I'd liken it to the pain of a broken leg.
If you take the pain away (with tapping, morphine or anything else)
you still have a broken leg and you want treatment for the break -
and you wouldn't expect the pain to go away permanently until the
break has been properly set and healed.

So I am feeling very grateful to have had this formula - it saved me
(and my baby) several days of extreme pain and, I believe, made the
experience of the extraction totally different, since all my fear of
the pain during and after was dealt with too.

Mary
