I agree that there is a strong connection of the smoker to the act of smoking.
More than that, the smoker identifies himself as a smoker. "K-testing" will
always demonstrate that it is necessary to let go of this self identification as
a "smoker". This is one of the blocks that we identify in our belief change
process. Until it is changed, letting go of smoking can be as hard as letting
go of one's identification as a"good" or "bad" person.

Hi Drizzle,

I would expect that the results would be about the same as with
acupuncture, except AFT is free to try out and you can apply it
whenever the craving occurs. It would not be practical to do that
with acupuncture. Smoking is very hard to kick because there is a
very deep physical, mental and psychological attachment to the
behavior - almost like it is ritual - know what I mean? A lot going
on at the subconscious level.

There are also formulas in the manual for alchohol (very complicated!)
cocaine, inhalants, sexual addictions. The manual can be downloaded
from the links here.

For alchohol and gambling I would highly recommend a 12-step program
along with the AFT. And prayer helps too. Just ask God to help you.
