I'm not going to comment about the directions but I must say that it would be
nice to have a listserve that is independent (i.e. not owned, monitored,
controlled or in any way screened) by the NATA. This is not a criticism of the
NATA but most would agree that a truly open and free discussion where anyone can
feel that anything can be said is best achieved via an independent communication
network. The NATA think tank is an ok idea, but an independent network should
be available also, one that we feel confident is not prescreened for
controversial or even negative comments about the organization.
