Dear Devoted AT Education Subscribers,
The National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) has significantly
updated its services and website to meet the current and future needs
of athletic trainers and other sports medicine professionals. One key
new offering is Think Tanks, which are topic- (diversity,
communications, etc.) and setting-specific groups (college/university,
secondary school, educator). To keep up with and support the NATA's
efforts, I am sad and excited to announce that this Athletic Training
Education listserv will also be moving to the NATA's Educator Think
Tank. Only NATA members will have access to the new Educator Think
Tank. Every effort will be made to move the archive from YahooGroup
to the NATA Think Tank. Instructions for accessing the Educator Think
Tank will be provided in this listserv and other methods.
Effective Monday, September 15 (2008), this AT Education listserv on
YahooGroups will no longer be taking any new emails or discussions.
Over the next couple weeks I will be moving it over and setting up the
new Educator Think Tank. If you have any questions or concerns,
please contact me individually. No discussions on this decision will
be presented on the AT Education listserv, sorry.
I sincerely hope that you will continue to support me and the mission
of this educational service to the athletic training profession,
educators, students, clinicians, and others. I have no doubt that
this new location will be just as educational. The NATA has asked me
to continue to moderate this new Educator Think Tank. Thank you for
your patience, understanding, and support.
