4th International Ankle Symposium: Call for Abstracts:   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #3427 of 3451 |
The 4th International Ankle Symposium will take place on the main
campus of The University of Sydney in Australia July 16-18, 2008.
Building on the success of previous symposia in Ulm (2000), Delaware
(2004) and Dublin (2006), this conference will bring together
researchers and clincians from many disciplines whose area of
interest is the ankle.

Further information, including the first call for submission of
abstracts for this conference is available here:

http://www.fhs.usyd.edu.au/clinicalrehabilitation/IAS4/index.shtml

The deadline for abstract submissions in Feb. 14, 2009.

The theme of the 4th International Ankle Symposium is "New Dimensions
on Old Problems". The 2009 meeting will examine ankle instability and
other related ankle pathologies from a multidisciplinary perspective.

The symposium will include a range of invited lectures, platform
presentations of new research, clinical assessment and treatment
techniques workshops, and poster sessions. We anticipate that this
conference will be beneficial and informative for clinicians and
scholars from many disciplines, including orthopaedics,
physiotherapy, podiatry, biomechanics ,emergency medicine, sports
medicine, athletic training, gait analysis, and kinesiotherapy.
