Many resources to help you now!

The summer is coming to a close ... a new academic year is almost
here. If you're like most of us, you're thinking, "Already?!" We don't
know where the time went either, but we do know how to help you keep
that carefree summer feeling around all year.

NATA's benefits for educators and students are growing -- and we now
have more to offer than ever before! Take a look below at just a few
of our newest products and services designed to help you and your
students save time, learn (and teach!) more efficiently and become
involved in your association.

We're excited to bring these to you ... just click on the underlined
link above each item to learn more. Have a terrific autumn!

ATrack
This powerful database is the answer to scattered paperwork, missing
test records and the fear of credential audits. In one secure and
easy-to-use place, you can add, edit and review clinical proficiency
records for any student, from any browser. Students can use it, too
-- to track their hours, access their proficiency results, read notes
on their performance and chart their own progress through the program.

Athletic Training Textbook
Have you asked your bookstore to order copies of NATA's new textbook
yet? If you haven't ... what are you waiting for? NATA Reference
Series: Position, Consensus, Official and Support Statements compiles
some of the profession's most critical documents in one convenient,
easy-to-access location. This is an invaluable resource that will be
useful to your students now and as they advance in their careers.

Call for Involvement
On Sept. 1, NATA will issue its first-ever Call for Involvement. This
is a great way to get connected to your association. Via the Call for
Involvement, we'll invite all members to sign up for one of our 16 new
Think Tanks (covering topics such as meeting planning, communications
and specific work settings -- including one for educators!) Think
Tanks provide a forum for discussion, build connections for
collaboration and deliberation with your peers, and open the door to
leadership opportunities and development within the association. When
the call is issued in September -- be sure to answer it!

Alternate dues invoice
Need assistance getting your employer to pay your NATA dues? Our
alternate dues invoice shows the dollar values for what you get from
your membership, including CEUs.

Education and legislation in D.C.!
NATA's 2009 Educators' Conference is set for Feb. 21 and 22 in
Washington, DC. The conference is slated in conjunction with NATA's
annual Capitol Hill Day, which takes place Feb. 23. New for 2009: A
Student Leadership event, which runs during the conference.
Registration opens Oct. 1.

Member Recruitment Promotion
Of course, you can't win if you don't play. Our 2008/09 contest
benefits both you and your students, with terrific prizes in place!

You can share this LIST OF STUDENT MEMBER BENEFITS with your students
-- it's full of offerings they get when they join NATA.
