Hello--

We are in the process of examining the Technical Standards for program
in the Health Sciences here at Saint Louis University.

Part of the reason for this process is that we have just finished
ligitation regarding a med school applicant who needed accommodations
and challenged the Technical Standards.

Our University Counsel is wondering if anyone has had their technical
standards challenged in court and would be willing to speak off-line
with him regarding the issues.

We are requesting this to see if there is anyone else out there
who has had a litigation experience that he can talk to and compare
notes.

Most of us are following a general model or approach when developing
these standards. Finding others who have had to fight in the trenches
and who can share lessons learned is invaluable.
