To all:
I recently attended the ATEC meeting in Dallas. One of the primary
purposes of attending the meeting was to educate the educators on the
Clinical/Industrial/Corporate committee programs. I also had a survey
where people at the conference could provide feedback on how the CIC
committee could help in preparing the student. If you did not have a
chance at the meeting or did not attend, I still need your feedback.
1: How can the CIC committee and members help you as an educator to
better prepare your students to understand and potentially become
employed in the CIC setting?
2: Please provide suggestions on educational resources that the CIC
committee and people employed in this employment setting could provide
in the future.
Some suggestions form the ATEC meeting:
1: "A day in the life" PPT of ATCs working in various CIC settings
2: Internship programs for students
3: Information resources for faculty so that they understand the CIC
setting better
Please provide me with comments, ideas, suggestions back to this listserv for
discussion. The CIC committee
is meeting in late February.
