Valerie,
I completed a study abroad opportunity in London during my time at South
Dakota State University. I traveled post-certification, while completing my
second degree in Health Promotions. I found a couple different venues which
were incredibly helpful. The first actually organized my internship for me
and is called CCSA. CCSA is based out of Northern Kentucky. They helped
establish my internship, housing during my stay, transportation, and some
meals. It's a great program if an internship site has not been established.
CCSA is affiliated with another program called CAPA which is more on-sight
help and orientation than anything else. Unfortunately, it's costly.

The other program I recommend is BUNAC. After my internship, I was hired. In
order to receive monies during my stay I needed a student work visa, BUNAC
helped my do this. The work visa lasts for 6 months ($250) and is renewable
for two additional 6 month periods. I would recommend this if your
student(s) have a lead for an internship and housing.
Finally for flights I would recommend STA (www.sta.com <http://www.sta.com/>
) This is a student friendly travel agency where you can get incredible
international fares. I was able to travel to London round trip (two separate
occasions) for $350. I was also able to rewrite my plane ticket for $25
opposed to the monstrous charge that usually accompanies such a service.
I would be happy to help any student(s) that may have questions about
studying abroad. I think it's an incredible opportunity which I know
personally can be life changing. Lastly, contact the international student
affairs office on your campus, Dr. Karl Schmidt from SDSU was incredibly
helpful in making my experience a success. He would also be a wealth of
information. Let me know if you have any more questions.
