To all athletic trainers on this list, it is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of an outstanding athletic trainer, educator, and one of the best people I ever new.  Mr. Jeff Oliphant, the Program Director and former Head Athletic Trainer at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire passed away during the night.  Those of you who knew Jeff know the kind of person he was, if you did not have the opportunity to know Jeff you will never know the kind of man he was.  Jeff will be missed by his family, his friends, his colleagues, and his students, in short he will be missed by everyone who’s life was touched by him. 

 

Please join me in thoughts and prayers for Jeff, his wife Ruth and his children Zach and Jessica.
