Don. I would really like to see what Paula Turocy has to say about the issue. If
you are out there, would you respond to this listserv, please? If
possible,before Fall semester starts. If not, is there going to be a JRC-AT
newsletter response to the issues Don raises?

As for us, the one of most interest to me is the question of allowing students
who "want" to stay and get additional hours (#3). My staff has already asked
this one. That is their first and foremost question. The problem I see is the
same one the NCAA has with saying that "open gym" is voluntary for scholarship
basketball players. Yeah, right. You know that is not voluntary. Some staff
athletic trainers who are hard pressed for coverage help will say the same
thing to their AT students.
