We are not a sports family (Okay, I do love the Yankees). We did not push him to
be in football. He came home and announced that he was doing it. There are some
people who like sports and some that don't and there is nothing wrong with
either. Of couse we all like football now and go to all of his games.

I just hope the young man is doing this because he wants to and not because all
the neurotyicals in his life thinks sports are important and wants him to.

Congratulations Donna!
I am very glad to hear about your son's progress.
My son David is 20 years old and in college. When he was in HS many
teachers thought he couldn't go to college.
Our kids are full of hope and surprises. Enjoy those moments.
