I know the feeling. I can't count the number of times an NT has engaged me in
coversation and something like that happens. I try to lend my input as
articulately and briefly as I can and still I somehow manage to irritate them in
seconds. Its the only way I can explain why they give me a dismissive, bored
sounding 'yeah, right' and avert their gaze from me just as I start talking.

I wish they would study and figure out what is it about us that causes
neurotypicals to feel boredom and annoyance. I attended a wedding today. I was
talking with a lady on the subject SHE chose. Same response. Sigh.

That is a very interesting suggestion. It sounds like it would be
difficult to do that. Does it ever make you tired or frustrated?
