Re: {Disarmed} Re: [aspergers_syndrome] Re: Anxiety

My husband and one of my best friends are aspies. My husband is on
anxiety meds that seem to help. (lexapro) My friend has a major hard time
with processing stuff. She will ask silly questions, and to me it is just
a cute little quirk- and I think it is OK for her to ask, it is better
to ask and find out, than to never ask, get confused, and always wonder...
Sometimes the ways she presents her questions is actually quite thought
provoking too. So don't be too hard on yourself. Telling people who
think you are a 'retard' that you need help understanding something will
help them understand you better!

P.S. I think 6 year olds are awesome too!

When I was a child I remember being calm most of the time. It seems that as I've gotten older my anxiety has increased a lot. Has anyone else noticed this?...
