[Aspartame Support] Re: Husband is Diabetic-quit aspertame same time as me-he's gaining weight???

What I learned is you can't explain it to some. It is not an easy lifestyle. It
is in other ways.

The lowest in sugar of fruits is granny smith apples. My son had a terrible
case of candida and a candida diet is good for diabetics because it is low on
the glycemic index. One reason meds make you gain weight is because they are
poison and the body recognizes this and holds water in the body so the chemicals
or pharmaceuticals do not kill you. Also it takes three months to rid the body
of any artifical sweetener. Pastas, breads, cereals are all carbohydrates that
turn into sugar. People need to get educated about what is a simple carbo and
a complex carbo. My brother in law thinks that he can have all sorts of crap
out of boxes and he is a diabetic wreck. His doctor tells him that instant
breakfast and glycerna bars are good for him and a bowl of cereal for
breakfast---sure it helps the doctor retain him as a patient. I couldn't even
eat that much garbage for breakfast and I am not diabetic. ALL of that turns
into pure sugar in the bloodstream---but he TRUSTS his doctors................it
drives me nuts. Those things are totally full of worthless calories and
chemicals.   Â
