Patty - I drank 4-5 litres daily when first detoxing. Depending on a person's size, I have not heard of it being a problem, provided they don't drink 4 litres...
 I loved my diet soda also....so I totally understand!  When I stopped smoking two years ago I got to chewing a lot of gum..I think that is what tripped me...
