Re: [Aspartame Support] Aspartame and Pets(specifically dogs)

ALL artificial sweeteners are just as dangerous for dogs as it is for
humans. In the early 80's...my employer (whose family first introduced ME to
Aspartame use)...tried giving Aspartame to his Chinese Chow (big beautiful
white
dog). The dog would SNIFF the drink...then back away...until they'd fix
another with either Sugar OR Saccharin. Eventually they decided to give the
dog
ONLY saccharin...since the dog was smart enough to realize just HOW deadly
the Aspartame was. Of course we KNOW the warnings on the saccharin
packet...bladder tumors...but one should realize that long ago...the first
tests on
saccharin...showed LIVER cancer too...not just bladder cancer. My employer's
dog (drinking Sweet n Low..saccharin drinks each day)...died of Bladder
CANCER...after developing a HUGE Bladder Tumor. (any questions about the
warnings
on the pink packs?) The man cried...saying to me, "You TOLD me NOT to give
him that artificial sweetener....I wish I had listened to you"...he cried.
