Subject: Important update about CAP services - New slots available

New Waiver slots and Update on Tiered Waiver
Dear readers:

The following info is provided to keep families up to date on changes in the Community Alternatives Program (CAP).

New Waiver Slots Allocated
300 new slots were made available this week. They are allocated per LME based on population counts and LME requests

You should contact your LME (DD Director) as well as your case manager to request assignment of a slot.

If you do not have a case manager, contact your regional Autism Society of North Carolina Parent Advocate for more info. To locate the Society Advocate who serves your county, click here for a staff listing with phone numbers.

Click here to see the full CAP slot allocation memo.
