Handthrown Pottery for Youth and Parent
Dates: January 26

Time: 1:00pm-5:00pm

Location: Northern Recreation Center

Fee: $10.00

Ages: 6-18

Minimum/maximum#: 3/9
This is an inclusive class. Because the parent is with the child, it
works for all children with or without a disability. The parent will
assist their child in creating unique pottery. Child will be able to
take home their proud piece of pottery.


Golf Clinic for Youth with Disabilities

Dates: Wed, May 2-23

Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm

Fee: $45.00

Ages: 9-16

Minimum/maximum #: 4/8
Registration Deadline: Sep 1

Location: Occoneechee Golf Club

Covering the fundamentals of golf. Special importance will be placed
on understanding the concepts of golf, such as club and course
explanation. Set-up, full shots and short game material will be
covered. Etiquette will also be discussed. It will be determined on
the first day whether the participant will need a parental/guardian
assistant each session.

Dates: Sundays, Feb 11-March 11

Time: 2-3:30

Place: Central Recreation Center Gym

Fee: Free!

Ages: 4-17

Registration Deadline: Feb 2

This soccer program has been developed for youth with cognitive
and/or physical disabilities. For more information and to register,

Open Play Basketball for Adults with Special Needs


Come join us at the Central Recreation Center on the 4th Fridays of
the month 2:30-3:30pm. No fee is involved. We play half court
basketball and some other fun games.
