Hello,

I am seeking the help of parents and caretakers who have at least one child with a disability.

As the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation, I am in the process of developing new and additional programs. You probably know that participants are not limited to residents of Chapel Hill or even Orange County (though people outside of Orange County pay a small additional fee). I am writing to ask for a few minutes of your time whether you have or have not participated in our programs.

            Attached, you will find three different surveys:

1. For families who HAVE participated in programs/activities through Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation
2. One for families who HAVE NOT participated in our programs
3. One for families who home school their children (or at least their child who has a disability)

 

            Would you please fill out the appropriate survey(s) and either email or mail them back to me at the address below? If you belong to listserves of people who home school their children or have children with disabilities, or would like to disseminate these surveys in any other way please feel free to do so. (Please be mindful of listserves that do not accept attachments and copy and paste the surveys into your post in those cases.)
