This is a group of people with arthritis who want to lose weight with others who know of the challenges of living with is arthritis. All those medications that make living with arthritis tolerable, but pile on the pounds. This group has been set up to give us a protected group where we can talk to others who know what it is like. ASA and UPSA members are especially welcome, but all people with arthritis and a weight problem will be considered for membership. You will be asked questions and electronically checked before you are allowed in as we do not want anyone trying to sell anything, anyone who will attack our self esteem and so on.

Denegrating a group member will not be tolerated. The first offense will result in a written warning. The second offense will involve suspension from the group. The third offence will result in being permanently banned from the group. Any spammers and trolls who slip through will be banned immediately they are found out. You are not welcome here.

As the aim is weight loss, or weight maintenance for those who have reached goal, members are expected to weigh in once a week. There are exemptions to this rule, but these are arranged at the discretion of the owner or moderators.

If you have or are recovering from an eating disorder, special arrangements will be made for you.
