>Hi Linda,
Ryan did have a stomach virus last Friday which I am sure started the problem
but it didn't last but one day. He started feeling tingling in his arms & legs
on Sat but took extra calcium and it went away. The tingling came back Monday
even worse and we took him into the Hospital. He had a seizure which was
terrifying while we were there. That was the first since being diagnosed with
hpth. His calcitriol has never been increased this much along with the extra
calcium so I am a little uneasy about this dosage. They did also give him
potassium supplements. I am not happy with Ryan's endo right now. She has yet to
see him when he has been admitted to the hosp.
Hope Tara is doing well.
Take care, Vicki

drops? This happened to Tara a lot but they would raise the calcium with one or
2 extra .25 pills and add oral calcium.Tara's daily dose is 1 mcg. I do know
that the low calcium can cause a drop in potassium. Is Ryan having stomach
issues?

opposite problem???

double dose of calcitriol(4 -.25 per day) plus 4000-6000 mg of calcium. I am
very nervous about him absorbing too much calcium. Any thoughts?
