I am new to the group although am aged 59.

As we all know APECED frightens off most medicos so a forum like this
is helpful.

I was wondering whether anyone may have had the problem of
spontaneous DVT's. I had Thromboses in my left leg before Xmas which
was diagnosed as Superficial Venus Thrombosis. I was told to go away
and take half an asprin each day. A week later it had developed into
DVT's.

There is no clinical reason for their occurrence.

Would be interested in anyone's thoughts.
