Hi Susan,
My 3.5 year old Julia has gotten the flu shot every year and has done fine with
it. She did have a bad reaction to MMR--fevers and rash, but that might have
been the first APS flare. She has all of her other vaccines, but has not had the
chicken pox vaccine. Some doctors wondered if she might have trouble with live
vaccines (such as MMR and chicken pox). Now Julia is on the immunosuppressant
MMF so the docs won't let her get the chicken pox vaccine as it could give her
chicken pox.
Julia has always seemed to get every infection going, so I am glad that she was
able to get almost all of her vaccines.

Hi Susan,
I also have received the flu vaccine every year. It doesn't always
prevent me from the getting the flu, but compared to all my
officemates (who don't get the vaccine) - when I do get it, my case
is usually much more mild than theirs. I haven't had any problems
from it as far as reactions (except a sore arm for a day or so).
