Hi again,
I should read all my emails before I write any! I was just
reading through emails from the Australian Addison’s Disease mailing list
and they were also talking about sweating. A lot of the people on the
list have this problem, and most of them have related it to when their
hydrocortisone (or whatever medication they are on) is low.

Hi,
James has night sweats on occasion
– and definitely sweats a lot if he gets hot (which is why I have banned
him from using the electric blanket). We asked his endo once about this
and his response was that James had probably had a hypo and this is why he was
sweating, but there was no evidence of low blood sugar. I’ve linked
it in the past to being associated with his Addison’s as it often happens
when he hasn’t had his night time tablets.
Hope this helps,
Liz
