same gamut and his doctor had no idea either. We finally started
experimenting with natural remedies and have finally seen
improvements. Some of the things we have done are: For cholesterol
he takes fish oil, for thyroid we added Atomodine, which is an iodine
supplement, for swelling in his hands from the cortisone he takes
vitamin E. We also found some liver supplements that help with the
liver problems (which by the way the cholesterol meds can
exacerbate), and Panax Ginseng and Pantothenic Acid for the fatigue.
If you do decide to try these make sure you get quality supplements
not the Wal-Mart variety. My husband also got an insulin pump which
has made a huge difference in controlling his sugar as well as
lowering his cholesterol.
Hope this is some help

weeks. There have been a few changes to his meds - decreased
cortisol, added cholesterol tablet - and we have noticed that he has
been sweating alot, been tired, and his skin is a different shade -
but i can't work out what the difference is. The problem is we don't
know what condition to attribute it too! James has
hypoparathyroidism, addisons disease, type 1 diabetes, and pernicious
aneamia. He had trouble with his liver 2 years ago - they ruled out
auto immune hepatitis and didn't know what the cause was (it was so
bad they were talking about a liver transplant - and then he just got
better within about 2 days).

James has low blood calcium but excess calcium output in his urine.
Anyone had this or know what it could be from? The doc was
scratching her head. I'm assuming it could be due to the
hypoparathyroidism but who knows! lol
