Hi Dede,
We go to the docs tomorrow to find out the latest blood test results, I was wondering if it's due to James's kidneys - but maybe the kidney function test will let us know :-)
Thanks for the info - I will pass it on to the doc too.

I have had low blood calcium with high output of calcium in my urine for some time now. They say it has to do with my kidneys not metabolizing the calcium well and they keep my calcium supplementation low, say I should eat as little phosphorous in my diet as possible, and drink lots of water. From time to time I feel like my calcium is low, and then I am encouraged to take an extra pill. Weakness if the main symptom, but nothing else that you describe happens.None of Jame's symptoms are familiar to me. Hope he feels well soon.Dede

There have been a few changes to his meds - decreased cortisol, added cholesterol tablet - and we have noticed that he has been sweating alot, been tired, and his skin is a different shade - but i can't work out what the difference is. The problem is we don't know what condition to attribute it too! James has hypoparathyroidism, addisons disease, type 1 diabetes, and pernicious aneamia. He had trouble with his liver 2 years ago - they ruled out auto immune hepatitis and didn't know what the cause was (it was so bad they were talking about a liver transplant - and then he just got better within about 2 days).Went to the doctors yesterday to get the results of some tests. James has low blood calcium but excess calcium output in his urine. Anyone had this or know what it could be from? The doc was scratching her head. I'm assuming it could be due to the hypoparathyroidism but who knows! lolThanks,Liz
