Hi All,
I have a question. James (my husband) has been 'off' for a few weeks. There have been a few changes to his meds - decreased cortisol, added cholesterol tablet - and we have noticed that he has been sweating alot, been tired, and his skin is a different shade - but i can't work out what the difference is. The problem is we don't know what condition to attribute it too! James has hypoparathyroidism, addisons disease, type 1 diabetes, and pernicious aneamia. He had trouble with his liver 2 years ago - they ruled out auto immune hepatitis and didn't know what the cause was (it was so bad they were talking about a liver transplant - and then he just got better within about 2 days).
Went to the doctors yesterday to get the results of some tests. James has low blood calcium but excess calcium output in his urine. Anyone had this or know what it could be from? The doc was scratching her head. I'm assuming it could be due to the hypoparathyroidism but who knows! lol
Thanks,
Liz
