Re: [apeced] To those with malabsorption

Julia, what you describe is yeast in your stomach. People talk about this from time to time on this list serve. I just tried to do a quick google search for you, but nothing that good came up. Perhaps you may want to check that out, because it is pretty easily treated once diagnosed.

Yeah, I've had Addison's since I was about 11 (27 now) - I don't think it's related, although you are right, that abdominal problems accompany an Addison's diagnosis.

I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia most recently in 2002 and think it's related to that - I know there are some with malabsorption and PA - but I'm curious of their symptoms - Basically for me, my stomach burns when I eat - it's very tender - I get full and nauseous quickly, and my lower GI has stabbing pains and is very active (uncomfortable bloating) - I have always dealth with constipation since I was little, but this is much worse - I'm just kind of stumped and am starting to lose weight because I'm not getting adequate calories in.

Thanks for your input - I'm gonna keep researching and calling my doctor (of whom has still not called me back!!  ARGH!)
