Hi Vicki,
I take diflucan (150mg) once when I am getting a vaginal yeast infection and it knocks it out right away - I'm sure ryan doesn't have this problem :)
I take a smaller dosage (50mg i think) daily for 30 days when yeast is in my GI tract. Sometimes I have to have my GI doctor add reglan for the slowed GI motility that sometimes accompanies the yeast infections - reglan speeds up the movement of food in the GI tract, used for patients that struggle with slow GI motility.
i hope this answers your questions.
Julia
