There are also Viactiv chews you could always try.  I have been taking Calcium citrate for some time now and only ever notice burping afterwards.  Of course, I take it with food, since they are horse pills.  I think the Viactiv chews may be easier to digest - if all she needs is a form of calicum supplement to take with her rocaltrol.
