The worst aspect of the Bill will be the way it will allow former psychiatric patients to be forcibly injected with mind-altering drugs in the community. However, a former patient will need to be informed of when a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) is coming to visit him/her, enabling activists to mobilise local people and activists in a demonstration outside the person's home to stop the CPN from entering. This method was used in the mass non-payment campaign that defeated the poll tax (which was the first campaign I was seriously involved in).

I am currently on oral drugs, so the Bill may not affect me - but if I decide to come off that medication and my consultant knows about it, then he/she could prescribe a depot (injection) for me.
