Dear Suzanne,
I'm sorry to learn of your discouragement. I don't
want to get preachy with you, but if you can, try to
focus on the good things you have going for you.
Now, you lost your sense of smell, is that right? You
don't have parosmia or phantosmia?
Try to not lose hope. The fact you did experience
some form of recovery is a start. Let's do hope this
is the beginning of your healing.
How fortunate to be gifted as an artist. What an
amazing talent, to be able to create beauty.
Suzanne, just hang in there. I also have a friend who
is an artist. She had worked for an advertising
company until she was laid off. Then it did take her
a few years to land on her feet, odd jobs here and
there. It was hard, but you somehow find a way.
But, she's now teaching art at a community college.
Stay encouraged. Better days are ahead.
Big hug to you!!!!!
