My non AS son had the operation when he was 4, for the same reasons as Alec
mentioned....and also psychologically when older, sports changing
rooms...they recommended it was done before he started school.
We were also told that if left up inside as he grows older, it could become
blocked, there could be extreme pain.
It is all a long time ago...he doesnt even remember it. They have to stay
quiet for a few days, that might not be so easy!!
