___Product preview:
I'm trying out mineral makeup as I go. I bought a kit from HSN
http://www.ANewMakeover.com/cosmetics.htm
from Morgan Shick. All the rage with mineral makeup is supposedly the
wonderful ingredient that the producers all rave about called mica.
Mica is a mineral great for its sunscreen properties but it makes you
look like the glowing lady from the Bond movie who mostly reflected
the light (read very shiny). If you have oily shiny skin already and
are hoping to get matte coverage this brand won't be for you.

I did like the coverup part of it but not the foundation it self. The
cover up wasn't shiny so I'm guessing its makeup was most from
bismuth.
Bismuth is a pink mineral (the same one they put in pepto abismal-uh,
I mean bismal - I that say cuz I hated the taste and it never worked
for me) Bismuth also has very good sun protection factors but Bismuth
can be an allergen to some so make sure your company has a good
return policy.
Bismuth can also look chalky on darker skin types. Since I'm one
of those who doesn't like to throw a make purchase away,
I'll only use during the dark days of winter and powder over the
top so onlookers need not turn away from the shiny glare that makes
my wrinkles oh-so-noticeable.

___Totally Tips

Try Avon http://www.ANewMakeover.com/skincare.htm ,
if you haven't already for fragrance and color products. They have a
100% satisfaction gaurantee. I tried their tinted moisture and even
the lightest light was too dark for me. It then turned orange after
about and hour. EEK! They took it back, no questions asked. I've
tried fragrances that smelled good on me right but in about an hour I
reeked like a dill pickle-no kidding! I promptedly return that as
well. No don't get me wrong I am a strong supporter of Avon and buy
alot of product from them, so my only purchases are not just returns
so I can try something for the fun of it. I don't abuse their
good
graces. This month is an especially good month to buy from Avon for
their breast cancer support products. They have good selection.

___Low carb dieting

Low Carb Lies: "You cant have fruit". Oy! I am so sick of hearing
that . Ever heard of the grapefruit diet? It wasn't magic because
of the fruit itself, but because of the low sugar, providing you
didn't go for the mountain of sugar it took to make it palatable.
The lowly grapefruits carb count is: per one cup serving: 12gm -now
that's low for one cup and I'm not subtracting the fiber for
the "net" gram count. Just be careful if you are taking
medication that may interact with grapefruit.
