Getting ready for winter. Sorry I haven't posted. Computer problems.
I thought I was going into withdrawal while waiting for repairs!
Otherwise been just busy trying to get all in place for winter. Glad
to hear you're healing well. Glad to hear about anniversaries, too.
Congrats to Lewis on 21 years! (hope I remember the name right - am
getting old)

I missed my usual meeting last week and was bummed about that. Lo'
and behold! Two people from out of town showed up at the noon meeting
so I had a Friday BB meeting instead! This is a meeting that started
about 13 years ago and was a good size at one time - sometimes 15 - 20
people. It's sort of died out as regulars retired, moved, etc. But I
don't let it go because, well, heck, I work here and its so darned
convenient! So it's still registered. I get week-enders, newcomers,
many sent by the drug court (I'm across the street from the court!) I
just sort of figure I'm here any way and if someone comes in, I'll
have a meeting. And I've never regretted it. Of course, I always
promise that if I do get some regulars I'll make coffee and supply
donuts, too!

Thank you for keeping this group alive when it seems to be only
hanging on by a breath! Who knows when someone will pop in and need
the connection to stay sober one more day?
