Well I got to talk to Lisa(selfrecovery) last night. She sounds good
and I sure miss her input in the group. It seems every since Yahoo in
its infinite wisdom took the chat fourm away..things have gotten
really slow here..And I know that peoples lives are still moving
along with things happening..The ups and downs and the good and the
bad. I am hoping others will start posting and letting us know how
there doing in their recovery. I myself am doing great ..even though
I still have not heard from my 2 childrem in almost 2 yrs. and that I
am getting ready to have another shoulder surgery on the 19th of Aug.
Thats is going to be another stressful time with the meds and the
Pain.. I am getting ready to deal with both. I have let my Dr.s know
of my addiction problems and that I will be needing them to keep an
eye on my recovery. Plus I have really good home support from my
sweetheart. she know every thing about my abuse..she seen it first
hand 32 yrs ago when we first met..which ended bad. But I knew we
would see eachother again some day..and now I am with my one true
love again. I am heading to Tennessee next week to see my Mom and 2
brothers who live down there and my other Brother from Ojai, Cali.
will be there with his family and newest grandbaby. It is going to be
so cool to sit and play music again with my brother.. Last time we
played was before my fathers passing in 86. so this is a great day
for us. Well enough of my blathering..Please drop and line or two..
