I was just wondering, Why is it that this group that has been going
since 1998 is so slow with posts and the new rwcovery ones are
booming? Is it the way we do things? Is it that we are open to all
types of recovery styles and not just one? Is it that we accept
people that have decided that certian ways of living their recovery
that works for them and may not work for others have something to do
with it? I love this group and the people who are in it,BUT..The main
members who founded this group are missing with thier support and
input. I myself and one of them, But I do at least check in and read
the posts. I may not have much to say about posts but I am hoping
that from all of the members we have we could at least get a little
more input. I look into other grops in yahoo and some are strictly AA
based and Big Book related. Same with the NA sites. This group was
founded for people who don't follow main stream recovery but are
willing to be open minded enough to accept others recovery styles. As
long as it help people stay sober and clean, that was all that
mattered. Please fellow members, we need to get this group going like
it use to. People posting about their everyday lives, willing to
listen and help those in need at any time. It sucks that Yahoo took
away the chat sites and the ones in the Messengers suck more than you
can ever know..BOTS bugging eveyone, kids harrasing people, foul
language...I miss it, but most of all I miss the people I use to talk
to in here everyday and every week. I am sending this message as a
Special Notice..I am Hopeing to get more than one or two responses
form the one or two people who do post. Dont let this great group and
this great bunch of people fade away. Don't be silent any more...POST
about how thisgs are going and I will do the same...Thanks for
listening...Mike(rednek53) Co-Founder since 1998
