Hi! This is my first posting here.

My name is Linda. I've been sober since May 2205.

I've had a complicated last few weeks. One of my children has a
drinking problem. While I sympathize (been there, done that, threw out
the TShirt), I didn't want to enable her, so we had to let a few of
our Christmas traditions go down the drain for this year. If we hadn't
done that, everyone else would have had to do her part, and that isn't
fair and I don't think it's helpful.

We didn't want to humiliate her, but also I didn't want to pretend I
didn't known what was going on. She's stopped two days ago. I
encourage her to get professional help. I guess it's in God's hands
now and I'm still sober.
