Hi and welcome Jiane. Its so ggod to see you here. Congratulations on
your 2 years. This is a great post too, I understand where your
coming from..only thing is..it took me 11 years to figure it out. I
know what you meand about making everyone else happy..I just went
thru a divorce and I am really happy now..But..My kids ..who are
adults will not speak to me..because I ruined their world.Even my
daughters last boy friend said that this and her world crumbled
because of what happened..I never knew I had that much control over
peoples lives..Hell I got sober 12 years ago..and was married 27
years..never realizing how unhappy I was because I really never
thought about it..My ex and I never fought..but we never talked
either..My kids were never around.My life was stagnant and going no
where. I am now working on my self which I know I should have done 12
years ago..I got hurt and am on disability and have tons of time now.

Remember we are not responsible for any ones happiness except our own.
And being a doormat..well that was part of my problem..I did
everything for everyone else..Now any more..I am to dam old to keep
that up..So thanks again for being part of this fine group///Love
