There is so much hope here. Most of the time, stopping in to read a
while is as good as a meeting. I so need to hear how other's live
sober. 'Live' being the operative word since I thought my life was
over without alcohol.

My new thing is trying to live my best life. Even in sobriety I've
spent a lot of time accepting a pretty good life. But I've recently
discovered that I don't have to settle for a 'pretty good life'. I
can participate a little more and live my best life! This is
exciting. More importantly, it is empowering for me.

Hope everyone is enjoying the coming of Summer! I'll enjoy it until
we get to the part when the temp is almost 90 and we're into 90%
humidity. Then I'll retire to my darkened living room in front of the
fan with a good book!
