I'm sorry that your precious son has been diagnosed with anencephaly.

My first daughter Ceilidh was diagnosed when I was 17 weeks pregnant. I carried her to term and she was born at 42 weeks. Sadly she was born still, but I don't regret my decision.

I have gone on to have four other children, all perfectly healthy. I was on 5mg of folic acid for three months before TTC and for the first three months of my subsequent pregnancies. I hope this gives you hope for the future.
