Re: [anencephaly] Are there any teen mothers out there who have lost a child?

Ashley,
You dont have to explain yourself to anyone if you do not want to. If you decide to tell your friends at school then you should just tell them the truth. It is hard to understand why these things happen. Alot of women to go to term. I did but not by choice so I understand why you didn't. You lost your son and people should understand that you are grieving and try to understand that. Being simpathetic is not something you learn with age. I am sure with time you will find a way to tell the people that stare. Or tell tem nothing and just try to ignore them. It is not easy no matter how old you are. I was in Cosmetology school when I got pregnant and I found out after I gratuated that he had anen. But when I went back to get my license and things it was hard to be there and see everyone stairing at me. I just told everyone and they all seemed alright with it. I went to school with some pretty young people and they where very understanding. I am sure that you will find support somewhere. I hope that this group helps you as much as it has helped me. Please take crae and to try not to worry about what other people think out of. If it was right for you then it was right. Take care
