Hello ladies!

 

I have not gotten online in a few days and I wanted to get on here tonight asap and tell you a few things.  Well without hesitation I will tell you that..........................we are expecting......a baby!  Yup that is right.  I know you will all understand when I say that I have known for a few weeks now.  I had my first doctor's appointment yesterday.  I wanted to wait to tell everyone (mainly my family) until I had the triple screen test.  I thought that was a test given at around 12 weeks but it is not until 15 weeks. That is the test that can determine if your baby has 1. an NTD  2. down's syndrome, and 3. I forgot the name but it is a chromosome defect where you have extra chromosomes. 

 

As of this week I am 9 weeks along and will be informing my family on Easter sunday which is also my dad's birthday this year.  I know that there is a very very slim chance that my next pregnancy will result in a baby with anencephaly but it I am still nervous.  I do not think I will be assured until my baby (hopefully a healthy girl) is in my arms alive and kickin'.  I am very excited for the most part and am thinking of my precious Brianna more than ever...if that was even possible.
