This group was started for the care givers and loved ones of an amyloidosis patient.

Whether or not you already belong to one of the other on line amyloidosis support groups; this group is designed for the caregivers and loved ones to give support, education and advice; as well as a place to share and vent.

Whether it is AL, AA, ATTR, Senile, Wild Type TTR, CAA, localized or a type that has been left off; know how welcome you are if you love and/or care for a patient with amyloidosis.

If you are a wife, husband, lover, friend, daughter, son, niece, nephew, significant other, or live with a patient of this disease; we are here for each other. No one claims to have all of the answers; but together we can know we are not alone.

There are resources on www.amyloidosissupport.com and there is help from many places; but there is nothing like sharing with those actually walking your(our)walk.

There is nothing tabu on this sight; but common sense and the rules of decency and Yahoo must be adhered to the max.
