This is the open internet forum for the Association for Multimodal Psychology. The Association is a professional membership organisation for multimodal counsellors, coaches, consultants and therapists. Established in 2003.
Objectives
4. The objects for which the Association is established are to provide an organisational and practical basis for the activities in the field of Multimodal Psychology and in particular:-
(i) To initiate and promote the maintenance of accountability for all the activities in the field of Multimodal Psychology in agreement with legal, ethical and professional standards.
(ii) To aid the advancement of Multimodal Psychology as academic and practical disciplines by encouraging research and by taking all possible steps to improve the practice of Multimodal Psychology.
(iii) To publicise and comment on courses for continuing professional education with the objective of raising standards of those practising Multimodal Psychology.
(iv) To bring together those persons engaged in the practice of Multimodal Psychology for the interchange of views, experiences and for mutual consultation.
(v) To arrange seminars, conferences and discussion groups on matters of common interest and act as a clearing-house for the exchange of ideas and information on the practice of Multimodal Psychology.
(vi) To issue a Journal or Bulletin and other publications and maintain a website.
(vii) To consider the formation of sectional or regional branches of the Association or groups with special purposes.
(viii) To be a representative of Multimodal Psychology agents and to develop and fosterrelationships with other bodies or authorities.
(ix) To maintain a Register of Accredited and/or Qualified Multimodal Practitioners, along with a Register of other grades within the Association.
