Well, that sounds like great news about how quickly your hair is growing! Clearly, the volume does not seem to be a problem. Naturally, there is some decrease near the ends, but that has to be expected, especially as you are trying to grow it longer.
I think you reason for growing it initially is also wonderful, as I have always thought ballerinas were the most beautiful creatures on earth, one because of their grace and the other because of their traditionally long hair:). Clearly, you capture both of these qualities, plus, as I have said, your facial features are what set you apart from the other long haired ladies on the net!
I wish you luck with that particular journalist. Some of them can be idiots and less than wonderful to work with. In either case, it will be his loss fault if the piece does not air soon or well. One way or another, I am sure that as you and your hair continue to grow in fame and length respectively, there will be far more television spots for you!

I am very surprised myself, that my hair is still growing and it seems
to be it is growing faster than before. I started to trim my hair more
often to get more volume at the end, but it´s getting longer and longer.
