Hello Ashley,
of course, this happend to me, too!
My hair is naturally waved and therefore it builts easily knots. I
hate this!
Here are some of my own rules for long and healthy hair:
I never swim having my hair all down. I protect it by wearing a bun or
at least a braid. And be carefull with saltwater, because it leads to
jejune hair.
Before I wash my hair, I always comb it carefully to reduce the amount
of knots generated during the hairwash. And it is important to know,
that wet hair is very sensitive and must be protected against damage.
Therefore I never comb my wet hair by a brush always using a wooden
comb to reduce hair damage. And hereby I start at the tips and go up
slowly. Normally I nead max. 10 min to comb my hair after wash.
I hope, that this will help you to reduce knots!!!
Bye, Marianne
