Re: newbie with question Betsy

You could use dmsa or alpha lipoic acid. Both you can get without a
script. Alpha Lipoic acid is also used as an antioxidant.
I could not tolerate selenium either until I had done 16 rounds of
dmsa to get my body burden of metals down. Now using dmsa/ala. ALA
removes brain mercury but must be used delicately and with knowledge
or proper dosing or it can make you worse. Bear in mind I was very
toxic. I had 14 amalgams that I had for 20 years. The first one at age
10..so pretty sick I was.
I was not able to tolerate chlorella. It made me worse. It does move
mercury but does not bind it to remove it from the body as dmsa or
dmps would. For me I guess, moving it was not enough because my body
could not get rid of it. Many of us have impaired detoxification
systems and cannot detox it naturally. Others do fine with that.

Selenium chelates (binds to) mercury and can therefore mobilize it (mercury) in the body of a mercury toxic person. When mercury is mobilized (moves around) in...

I had my amalgams removed about 6 years ago. No special care was taken. Does this increase or decrease my chances of mercury toxicity?...

It definitely increases your exposure to mercury if no precautions were taken to protect you during amalgam removal. The dentist should have used a rubber dam...

I'm doing research to see about doing detox. Is this easy to accomplish without DMPS? By using Chlorella, cilantro and MSM + the right diet?...
