Yes I have had dysbiosis for many many years. I had Candida, all kinds
of yeast stuff going on and parasites. I was treated through a
homeopathic doctor. He put me on Florastor. Not sure about the
spelling, but it did the trick. Still have to be treated for the
parasites yet. If you have taken lots of anti-biotics, been on hormone
replacement therapy, right away your intestinal flora is upset and it
creates all kinds of problems coming from your gut. You can get leaky
gut too. It won't show up on a colonscopy but it is good to get one
anyway to rule out other things. You will come through this fine. There
are some things you won't want to eat, like white flour, sugar
especially. I am sure your doctor will tell you all those things. Is he
an MD or natural doc? Don't worry about it, it will get better with the
right diet and meds.
